Dhiffushi

Dhiffushi is a peaceful local island located in the Kaafu Atoll, northeast of Malé, just a 45-minute speedboat ride from the capital. Known for its stunning white sand beaches and shallow turquoise lagoons, Dhiffushi offers a quieter, more authentic alternative to resort islands.

The island is small and easy to explore on foot or by bicycle, with a welcoming local community. Dhiffushi is especially popular for snorkeling, sandbank trips, and kayaking, thanks to its vibrant house reef and crystal-clear waters. It’s also one of the few local islands that features a private bikini beach, allowing tourists to sunbathe and swim freely.
